My name is Victor Armendariz and I am running on the Republican ticket for US Congress in Georgia's District 4. I am so encouraged by the support I have been receiving as this campaign jolts forward. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. I firmly believe we can win this seat and send a common sense candidate to Congress. A common sense candidate of the people that will stand for smaller government, cutting spending, overhauling the tax code by enacting the FairTax, secure our borders, encourage the private sector, reform health care through private sector answers, uphold freedom, unafraid to express liberty and be proud to defend our republic. I pledge to always defer to Freedom and Liberty when proposing or voting on any legislation. I will never forget what our Founding Fathers created and stood for. Most of all, I will never forget that I serve the people. We are the most caring nation the world has ever seen. The United States has lifted more people out of poverty and we owe no one an apology. We are the beacon of Freedom and the shining light of Liberty and this light shall never be allowed to diminish.
I pledge to uphold the Constitution of the United States. This is the most incredible document ever written!
I plege to support the repealing of the 16th Amendment and replace the Income tax with the FairTax.
Let us never forget that the Bill of Rights brought us the first 10 amendments. The Bill of Rights is a vital symbol of the freedoms and culture of the United States. Never forget that the original Bill of Rights limited the federal government, not the States. Hence, the 10th Amendment, The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. If a State wants to tackle an issue such as prayer in schools, the federal government should stay out. Let's face it, as long as there are grades given in schools, there will be prayer in schools.
So, let us remind all elected officials that the 10th Amendment provides that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states by the Constitution of the United States are reserved to the states or the people.
